ESL co-leaders use their diversity to change lives
LAKE FOREST, Calif. (BP) -- When Maria immigrated to California from Mexico, she knew she needed to learn English. What she didn't know was that, in doing so, she would also come to know Jesus Christ. Arbor Christian Fellowship in Lake Forest, Calif., has offered an ESL -- English as a Second Language -- school to Spanish speakers for many years. Today it is led by Sue Thompson and Rosie Montoya and supported by a team of volunteers.
