David George elected WMU Foundation exec

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (BP)--David George of Birmingham, Ala., was elected unanimously Oct. 20 to serve as the next president of the WMU Foundation. He will assume the new position Jan. 1, 2002.

WMU tells ‘Impact Northeast’ story through new magazine

      BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (BP)--February 2001 marked the launch of national Woman's Missionary Union's effort to tell the story of Impact Northeast to its Missions Mosaic readers. A four-page bonus feature describing the project was included in the February 2001 issue sent to subscribers in 11 Impact Northeast states.
      Impact Northeast (INE) is a partnership between state conventions in the south and northeast with the goal of permeating the northeastern United States with the gospel.
