Family continues Carson-Newman tradition as third member signs football scholarship

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (BP)–The Brown family deserves to grace the cover of a Carson-Newman College brochure.

Leon Brown played for the Eagles from 1972-77 and earned Little All-American honors at fullback. The Eagle alumnus, who is now the head coach at Cleveland High School, also met his wife Barbara at Carson-Newman. Their oldest son Nick is entering his redshirt senior season on the Carson-Newman football team and younger brother Nate will join him next year in Jefferson City, Tenn.
