BRENTWOOD, Tenn.—Lifeway’s B&H Publishing Group and Holman Bibles are releasing new products this year aimed at helping the next generation better engage with the Bible.
A new teen study Bible, kids Scripture memory cards and a Bible dictionary for kids are designed to assist young readers with studying Scripture in a deeper way to foster discipleship and lifelong faith.
Lifeway Research studies indicate that Bible intake is one of the main predictors of the future progression of younger generations into spiritual maturity. Andy McLean, publisher for Holman Bibles, pointed to this research as the basis for developing this new series of products.

CSB Teen Study Bible equips young adults
Arriving in the midst of a recent boom in Bible sales spurred heavily by first-time buyers and younger generations, the brand-new “CSB Teen Study Bible,” available Sept. 15, is a robust resource for teen readers.
This resource is designed to be an engaging, intentionally crafted study Bible that allows teens to ask and find answers to the tough questions they have about God, the Bible and the world. Those behind the resource believe it is ideal for teens who are ready for a deeper, more engaging study experience.
The “CSB Teen Study Bible” features book introductions connecting Christ to every book of the Bible, concise Q&A-style study notes, topical articles tackling more complex faith questions, devotionals to help foster personal growth and other helpful study tools. Additionally, the B&H team believes it can serve as a great resource for youth pastors, ministry leaders and parents to help guide teens as they take the next steps in their faith journey.
Shane Pruitt, author and national next gen director for the North American Mission Board (NAMB), spoke about the positive impact this new study Bible can make on the next generation.

Explorer Bible resources expand
The two additional products are the “CSB Explorer Bible for Kids Scripture Memory Cards” and “The Explorer Bible Dictionary for Kids.”
Both products are companion resources for the “CSB Explorer Bible for Kids” by Holman Bibles, which was named Bible of the Year at the 2023 Evangelical Christian Publishers Association’s (ECPA) Christian Book Awards.
It was the first time in 18 years and the second time in the history of the category that the ECPA has named a children’s resource Bible of the Year.
The CSB Explorer Bible for Kids Scripture Memory Cards are 100 uniquely designed Scripture memory cards featuring key verses from the Old and New Testaments. Each pocket-size card displays the verse on the front and corresponding full-color illustration on the back.
The cards are organized by doctrine. Those covered include God, creation, Scripture, humanity, sin, Jesus, Holy Spirit, salvation, church and new creation.
The CSB Bible for Kids Scripture Memory Cards are available July 15 and available for pre-order now.
“The Explorer Bible Dictionary for Kids” is also intentionally designed to accompany the “CSB Explorer Bible for Kids.”
Children can interact with more than 750 common Bible terms paired with concise definitions to enhance their understanding of the people, places and things of the Bible. Full-color images, illustrations, maps and reconstructions are included throughout to increase comprehension and help kids understand and apply key terms and truths of the Bible.
