DALLAS (BP)–Internet broadcasts of two prominent conference ministries — Women of Faith and Promise Keepers — has been scheduled by Dallas Christian radio station KCBI.
The live broadcasts, to be accessible at www.kcbi.org, will be Aug. 9-10 for the Women of Faith conference in Dallas and Aug. 16-17 for the Promise Keepers men’s conference, also in Dallas.
Among the Women of Faith speakers scheduled for the “Sensational Life 2002” gathering in the American Airlines Center are Patsy Clairmont, Barbara Johnson, Luci Swindoll, Sheila Walsh, Marilyn Meberg and Thelma Wells, along with featured musicians Nicole Johnson, Cece Winans and Babbie Mason.
Promise Keepers speakers scheduled for the “Storm the Gates” gathering at Reunion Arena are Bill McCartney, Larry Crabb, Bruce Wilkinson, Randy Phillips, Raleigh Washington, Bob Stromberg and Joe White, along with featured musician Marcos Witt.
The Women of Faith broadcasts will begin at 7 p.m. Central time on Friday, Aug. 9, and 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10. A pre-conference broadcast by KCBI is scheduled from 3-7 p.m. Friday.
The Promise Keepers broadcasts will begin at 6:30 p.m. Central on Friday, Aug. 16, and at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17. The pre-conference KCBI broadcast will be from 3-6:30 p.m. on Friday.
In the Dallas/Fort Worth area, the conferences can be heard on the 100,000-watt station at 90.9 on the FM dial.
Women of Faith conferences are being held in 27 cities across the United States and Canada this year; Promise Keepers conferences are being held in 16 U.S. cities.
