Tennessee recovery begins in earnest; N.C. Baptists serve, minister to residents impacted by Garner tornado.

MOUNT JULIET, Tenn. (BP) – With Christmas just around the corner, many Tennesseans are dealing with the aftermath of a series of tornadoes that swept through West and Middle Tennessee on Dec. 9.

RALEIGH – The new $30 billion state budget for the 2023-24 fiscal year that was approved by the North Carolina General Assembly last month includes a $5 million grant to N.C. Baptists on Mission to use for responses to natural disasters in the state.
