NASHVILLE (BP) -- Amanda Strauwald doesn't want things to go back to the way they were before COVID-19 -- at least, not when it comes to the new perspective she has on life. New resource helps parents of teens tackle ‘discipleship deficit’ at home

NASHVILLE (BP) -- As a former youth pastor of 15 years, Zac Workun believes most parents of teenagers want to take the lead in discipling their kids; they just don't always know how. "For many busy families, discipleship is either relegated to church on Sundays, or is too big of a task for parents to know where to begin," said Workun, LifeWay student ministry specialist. "It expresses one's faith for today while building one's soul to serve more powerfully tomorrow." Ripken believes this kind of joy has a role to play not just for missionaries and those living in ...

NASHVILLE (BP) -- Between wrangling toddlers, filling volunteer spots and helping teens navigate adolescence, the responsibilities that lace kids and student ministry can make for a tough gig. But God doesn't intend for these crucial ministries to merely survive, but to thrive, said leaders at the 2019 ETCH Family Ministry Conference held October 7-9 at the Music City Center.

NASHVILLE (BP) -- Alex and Stephen Kendrick's latest film "Overcomer," which is now in theaters, breaks the mold from their previous movies in one important way.
