ROGERS, Ark. – International Mission Board trustees approved the appointment of 41 new full-time, fully funded missionaries during their Feb. 4-5 meeting in Rogers. Trustees met in conjunction with a Sending Celebration for new appointees hosted by First Baptist Rogers on Feb. 4.

ROGERS, Ark. – Southern Baptists gathered at First Baptist Rogers Wednesday, Feb. 4, to support and send 41 International Mission Board missionaries who are going to the nations to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Ava Taylor* spent the past two years traveling across Europe as part of the International Mission Board’s Project 3000 Explorer initiative, seeking out unreached people groups and sharing the Gospel. The project’s goal is to ensure every people group has access to the message of Christ.

ROCKVILLE, Va. – Rynie Badenhorst returned to Missions College this year with a clear purpose – and a larger group. The global outreach pastor from CityRise (West University Baptist Church) in Houston, Texas, brought a team of 10 this year, all excited to strengthen their church’s pathway for sending and sustaining the next generation on mission.

BELFAST, Ireland – It began on a sunny day at a local park. International Mission Board missionaries Russell and Tori Minnick were watching their kids have fun on a playground when, at the far end of a field, a group of men were running routes and huddling over playbooks.

Tokyo was a whirlwind of colors, sounds and — most importantly — signs. For two weeks in November, the Deaflympics met in the capital city of Japan, where the International Mission Board had more than 50 workers and volunteers sharing the Gospel during the worldwide event for Deaf athletes.

When Jonathan and Sarah Alexander met in Central Asia in the early 1990s, most of the countries in the region were a part of the Soviet Union. There were only a handful of Christians and no churches among the people group the Alexanders were working with. In 30-plus years, the existing believers in the country grew to tens of thousands of Christians and hundreds of churches.

SOUTHEAST ASIA – Miss Mya was the first person in her village who ever talked to God. 

When Song, a Hindu woman, and her family moved to the outskirts of a large, South Asian city for work, she prayed for God to teach her more about Himself.
