SEBTS, IMB, local churches partner to send

RALEIGH, N.C. (BP) – Churches and Southern Baptist Convention entities must work together to see more missionaries reach the nations. That was the message of an all-day missions pipeline workshop for congregations in the Raleigh-Durham area.

SEBTS trustees celebrate completion of ‘For the Mission’ campaign

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (BP) – On Oct. 8-10, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary hosted its fall biannual board of trustees meeting and Southeastern Society (SES) gathering. Trustees appointed Seth Bible as dean of The College at Southeastern and celebrated reports of record giving, increased enrollment, and heightened participation in Great Commission efforts.

Southern Baptist seminaries were raised up, I believe, by the Lord — not to take the place of local churches — but to come alongside and help local churches.
