Hollifield announces plans to retire as N.C. Baptist leader
CARY, N.C. (BP) -- Milton A. Hollifield Jr., executive director-treasurer of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSC), has announced plans to retire effective Feb. 28, 2021. Hollifield, 70, has led the convention for 14 years and has served for a total of 27 years. He was elected as the 14th executive director-treasurer on April 11, 2006, during a special called meeting of the convention held at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem.
