FIRST-PERSON: Delivering an Executive Committee that was first delivered by the messengers
One of my favorite lines in Scripture is when Paul tells believers, “I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received” (1 Cor 15:3). Paul is talking about the gospel, of course, but I believe the heart of his statement is applicable for how the Executive Committee ought to function in its relationship to the messengers of the Southern Baptist Convention.
