He loved to study then and -- even as a professor of historical theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas -- is no less of a student now than in those early years. The faculty of the new institution, chosen by Carroll, excelled in teaching and poured their thoughts into the pages of numerous publications.

FORT WORTH, Texas (BP)--Jean Johnson had never heard of World Changers when her roof started leaking this past year, but she knew who to thank when young people from eight states came together to replace the roof. She also was certain of who was at the heart of their mission.
"I just said, 'Thank you, dear Jesus; thank you, dear Jesus,' because I was so happy," Johnson said over the sound of hammers banging on her roof.
Johnson, 77, was one of 23 Fort Worth residents who witnessed firsthand the dedication of approximately 200 youth and 80 adults who journeyed to the Texas city to participate in World Changers June 17-21.
Spain, her next field of service, follows Argentina & Southwestern
FORT WORTH, Texas (BP)--Few seminary staff members are as familiar with immigration law as Jan Johnsonius. For more than six years she has assisted international students at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with visas and other immigration paperwork and helped alleviate some of the anxiety they've felt while becoming accustomed to American culture.

At the time, only Southern Seminary existed.
That changed in 1910 when B.H. Carroll established Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. In mid-April approximately 1000 senior adults, some who were alive when the seminary was founded, toured the campus of the Southern Baptist Convention's second -- and now its largest -- seminary.
They evangelize in a 180 mph environment
