NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–Although Vanderbilt scored the 28-22 win over the University of Richmond, it was no easy feat putting away the Division I-AA Spiders Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium.
Even late into the contest, Commodore Coach Woody Widenhofer had his doubts.
“Listen, I was worried when there were four seconds left,” said Widenhofer, “and watched two of our guys run into each other.”
