NAMB year in review: Continued growth in baptisms, church planting highlights of 2025

ALPHARETTA, Ga. –- For the fourth consecutive year, 2025 saw Southern Baptists increase baptisms and plant at least 600 new churches while surpassing $70 million given to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO) for the third consecutive year to support the worth of North American missionaries.

NASHVILLE (BP) – The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission expressed hope that religious persecution will lessen in Nigeria. Pres. Donald Trump ordered Christmas Day air strikes aimed at terrorist groups that had “been targeting and viciously killing, primarily, innocent Christians”.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Spurgeon College celebrate another year marked by the Lord’s kindness, institutional growth, and significant ministry developments.
