SYDNEY (BP) -- The international Jewish community is mourning during its annual Festival of Lights after gunmen killed at least 15 and injured dozens at a Hannukah celebration in Sydney Dec. 14.
Williston, VT (BP) -- After leaving Vermont, returning again feels like entering spiritual darkness. That’s how one volunteer at Aspire Now Pregnancy Care Center in Williston, Vermont, described her experience serving mothers in a state that is leading the nation in abortion access.

DUNDALK, Maryland — It was a chilly, damp morning on Nov. 22, just days before Thanksgiving, when John Hormess arrived at Creekside Community Church, Dundalk, to prepare for the church’s monthly “My Father’s Pantry” outreach.

As I near the end of the current semester, it’s natural to reflect back on the previous few months. Truthfully, unless I looked at my calendar of appointments, it would be hard to recall what I did many days. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good day, but nothing stands out. There is one day, however, which stands out from this semester.
