Evangelists
“A ‘Meet and Greet’ time with our evangelists will take place in the church’s fellowship hall prior to and after the service,” said Amy Stockwell, the Evangelists’ secretary/treasurer. “This event promises to be a special and encouraging time of worship led by those uniquely qualified with the spiritual gift and calling of the Evangelist as outlined in Ephesians 4.”
Special guest Evangelist Daniel Ritchie is to headline the praise and worship service, along with special music led by music evangelists Russell and Kristi Johnson. Other members of SBC Evangelists including several past presidents of the SBC Evangelists’ group also plan to participate in the program.
“SBC Evangelists also are hosting a booth – #232 – in the Exhibit Hall during the SBC annual meeting,” Stockwell continued. “Come and meet your SBC Evangelists and find out more about their individual ministries. Many of them have ongoing international mission projects in various countries, along with ministry in local churches across the nation.
“Your SBC Evangelists are ready to serve your church family with special evangelistic outreach events, evangelism training, mission projects, revivals, and much more,” Stockwell said. “Our online directory may be found at www.sbcevangelist.org along with a host of resource materials and information about how to share the Gospel message and the love of Christ.”

“Associational Mission Strategists (AMSs) who regularly attend say our SBCAL Annual Conference provides great inspiration, equipping, breakout sessions, and networking,” said SBCAL’s President and CEO Ray Gentry. “Many say it is a highlight of being at the SBC Annual Meeting each year.”
The event also is to include a ministry fair.
“I’m looking forward to the excitement and sweet spirit we have every year as we sharpen one another as iron sharpens iron, and to see if we will equal or exceed the 450-plus who participated in Dallas,” Gentry added.
