It was communion Sunday. I finished my sermon and began to prepare the congregation to meet one another at the Lord’s Table. I communicated the meaning and significance of the bread and cup (Mark 14:22-25). I then invited all baptized believers to take the Lord’s Supper and remember the Lord’s sacrifice.
As a pastor, it is my responsibility to guide and mentor younger individuals who are interested in pursuing ministry, especially during this time of tension within evangelicalism.
Most regular churchgoers disregard the simple visitor’s card tucked away behind church pews and seats. But for one Send Network church plant in Vancouver, Washington, these cards have proven to be the doorway to strong relationships and gospel conversations.
