LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The board of trustees of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary convened Monday, April 7, for their Spring meeting, advancing key actions that reflect the institution’s enduring commitment to theological faithfulness, academic excellence and Gospel urgency.

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced Daniel Smith of Boyce College as the recipient of the 2025 Pete Maravich Award for Men’s Basketball. Named after legendary basketball player “Pistol Pete” Maravich, the award reflects Maravich’s legacy both on the court and in his later years as a devoted follower of Christ.
